CARLTON

Carlton is home to more than a half dozen restaurant options, from fine dining to award-winning hamburgers, and fresh-made sandwiches to tacos. Some are open for lunch only, others for dinner. Days of operation vary as well.

Barrel 47 

Featuring American cuisine with a variety of choices, from small bites to prime rib.  The pub has six beers on tap and also serves local wines.

Carlton Bakery

Serving fresh-made sandwiches, quiche and muesli.  Baguettes, brioche and breads, plus a variety of delicious pastries are made daily.

Carlton Corners

Known for their award-winning hamburgers, also offering other sandwiches and complete dinners.  The restaurant at the gas station also features ten rotating Oregon craft beers and ciders.

Carlton Coffee Co.

Breakfast menu available all day and a variety of sandwiches for lunch.  Espresso, chocolate, tea, blended drinks and cold drinks on tap.  

Carlton & Coast Tavern

A new tavern in an old building, the bar is named for the Carlton & Coast Railroad which operated in the early 1900s.  Offering “the region’s best beers,” ciders, kombucha and a few wines. Find tacos, salads and burgers on the menu. 

Common Grounds Espresso

A drive-up coffee stop next to Carlton Bakery, with lots of beverage options.

Cuvée

Fine dining in Carlton in the French tradition. Chef Gilbert Henry serves up fresh seafood, select meats and seasonal vegetables as well as sumptuous desserts. 

Earth & Sea

Carlton’s newest restaurant features locally sourced and seasonally inspired fine dining.  Offering a la carte and prixe fixe options, Earth & Sea is located in the stylishly-redesigned former firehouse.

Margarita’s Mexican

A family restaurant serving homemade food and “the best margarita in Western Oregon.”

The Horse Radish 

Known for their sandwiches, this popular gathering spot serves Marshall Davis Wines and four specially chosen craft beers.  Live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
